Most agency FAQ pages are a sales pitch wearing a question mark. This one includes the things we will talk you out of, because the fastest way to waste your money is to buy the wrong service confidently.

FAQ

Everything,asked and answered.

How much does a website cost?

During our launch offer a starter build is $250 up front for three fully custom pages (normally $500), plus a $50/month retainer locked for 12 months (normally $150), with the first 30 days free. Extra pages are $75 each. A headless Shopify storefront is $500 up front plus $100/month. GTA agencies commonly quote $3,500 and up for comparable website work. The offer ends August 3, 2026.

Why are you cheaper than other agencies?

We are a small studio with almost no overhead: no office, no account managers, no sales team. You work directly with the person building the site. On top of that we are currently running a 50% launch offer to build our portfolio, so prices are lower still until August 3, 2026. It also means we take fewer projects at once, so timing is sometimes the constraint rather than price.

How long does a build take?

Three to six weeks for most small business sites, from kickoff to launch. The build itself is rarely the bottleneck. Waiting on content, copy, and photos usually is, and that part is on your side.

Do I own my website?

Yes, completely. You get the repository. We build on Next.js, not a proprietary platform, so any developer can take it over. Nothing here is designed to trap you.

What happens if I cancel the retainer?

The site is still yours and you keep the code. The retainer covers hosting, updates, security patches, and small changes, so you would need to arrange hosting elsewhere. There is no exit fee and no hostage-taking.

Can you guarantee I will rank first on Google?

No, and nobody honestly can. Google does not sell rankings and does not take requests. Any agency guaranteeing a position is either ranking you for terms nobody searches or counting on you never checking. What we can promise is fixing what is broken and being straight about what is moving.

How long does SEO take to work?

Technical fixes can show results in weeks. Competitive rankings usually take six to twelve months of consistent work. If you need customers this month, SEO is the wrong tool and paid ads are the right one, and we will tell you that rather than sell you a retainer.

Should I have a page for every city in Canada?

No. Mass-produced city pages are doorway pages, which Google explicitly classifies as spam, and they can damage your entire domain. Build pages only for places you genuinely operate and can say something real about. That is why our own service-area list is eight GTA cities rather than eighty.

Do you work outside the GTA?

Yes, remotely, across Canada. The build quality is identical anywhere. What is different is local market knowledge: we can speak to the GTA with real specifics, and elsewhere we lean on your understanding of your own customers.

What will you talk me out of?

Headless Shopify if you are early and a theme is working. SEO if you need revenue in thirty days. A chatbot if you answer your own phone and get five enquiries a week. A rebuild if your current site is fast and converting. We would rather lose the sale than take money for something that will not work.

Do you use WordPress?

No. WordPress is a reasonable tool and runs a huge share of the web, but typical builds accumulate plugins that each cost load time and add security surface. We build in Next.js, which is static where it can be, so it is fast by default and much harder to break.

Can you fix my existing site instead of rebuilding?

Sometimes, and if that is the right answer we will say so. If your site loads fast, works on a phone, and brings in leads, a rebuild is often not worth it. Get a free estimate and we will tell you honestly whether three fixes beat starting over.
