Web design inMarkham.

Markham calls itself Canada’s high-tech capital, and the label is mostly earned: IBM, AMD, Honeywell, and a long tail of IT firms, software companies, and hardware suppliers cluster along the Highway 404 and Woodbine corridors. It is also home to one of the largest Chinese-Canadian business communities in North America, with dense retail and professional service districts around Highway 7 and Kennedy. Both of those facts mean Markham buyers are unusually sophisticated. A tech-adjacent audience notices a slow, dated site immediately.

The local picture

What competing in Markhamactually takes.

01

Selling to a technical audience raises the floor. The site itself is evidence of competence, and a bloated WordPress build undermines a pitch about your engineering rigour.

02

For businesses serving the Chinese-Canadian community, bilingual content is a genuine ranking and conversion advantage rather than a nice-to-have.

03

Markham professional services compete on trust signals: credentials, case detail, and clarity beat design polish.

FAQ

Markham questions,answered straight.

Can you build a bilingual English and Chinese site?

Yes. The technical side, routing, hreflang tags, and separate indexable URLs per language, is straightforward. The part that matters is translation quality, and we would want a native speaker on your side reviewing the copy rather than shipping machine translation.

We are a software company. Why not build it ourselves?

Sometimes you should. If you have front-end capacity and the time, a marketing site is not hard. Most technical teams we talk to have the skill and not the hours, and the site has been "next quarter’s project" for two years.

What stack do you build on?

Next.js and TypeScript, deployed on Vercel. No page builders. You get the repository, so any developer can pick it up later.
